Keywords has no impact on indexing page. To rest of you question is not clear what are you asking.

I'm having an issue understanding where the setting for homepage is... I've installed and configured the plugin as per the documentation, everything works well expect the homepage doesn't have a proper title and description.

Could someone point me in the right direction please - I don't see any settings related to the homepage.

I am using the Veronikia theme is that helps.
