i am using zara and i don't see that my autocomplete search is working. what do I need to do to make it work?

It works on search page when you enter word into input in left sidebar (try to write cat)

I just checked this myself. I'm on patricia.

The autocomplete works 100%  on search page sidebar but it does not work for the search bar at the top of every page. i check to see if the id="query" was present in inc.search.php and it is.
