I have searched on the forum how to change the main category on the home page to List view and I saw a Thread where you Direct people to change code in inc.category.php so I check the file I could not find the List or Grid view code in the file I will appreciate if you can let me know where to change the main category on home to List view

In main.php change this:
class="products grid"
into this:
class="products list"

There is no Nowhere in main.php to change the Category to list view all the Grid in main.php are for premium, lastest, business profile block, see the attached picture of what I want to change to list view
