How to make in home page the box "What are you looking for?" to be dropdown like Locations?
As far as i've seen this text box is connected with categories. So how to make it dropdown and not text box?

Those are usuallly not things you can just write into post. Start and if you have issue post problem here.

I'm not a programmer.
I can of course edit the code with the one that you can point me for example.

on Alpha Theme you have exactly this working...
You have the Categories with drop down on search!

Any chance you provide the code needed for this ?

Anyone who can help me please see the image below,
I want to change the text box "What are you looking for?" with a drop down box of the categories. To this and to inner search page.

I know for non-dev people everything seems like just easy stuff, but such modifcations require much more work and most of people will not waste their time on forums doing work for other people. Community helps, suggest etc, i.e. if you have code that almost works will help you to find issue in it, but will not create that code at all.

you already have that code ready on Alpha theme.
You do not need to create new the way i see it.
can point me this and i try to change it to the Beta one.

Take a look on inc.search.php and main.php, jquery update needed, css update needed, cantact.php update needed as holder of ajax.
