Hi,

I've just updated to the latest Cache plugin update.

The cache files seem to be clearing after a few minutes, I have set the refresh interval to 4 hours and the clearing interval to 30 days, but all the cache is deleted after a few minutes.

Can you suggest a solution?

Cache can be cleaned by other reasons, not just by expiration.
Plugin does not log removal

I understand the plugin does remove some cache entries due to updates or settings in the cache configuration.

With the latest version I am getting the complete cache emptied every couple of minutes. I have several thousand category / location pages that should be cached on a fairly busy classified site. In a couple of minutes I will get up to 100 page cached then all the cached pages are deleted back to zero pages cached again.

Can you please investigate the problem with the plugin?

Item edit will also purge search & home page cache. That may be optional only and could be disabled I think in cac_clean_edited function

How do I disable this function, as I have ads posted every few minutes on my site, there would be no point of having this plugin if the whole cache is cleared every few minutes?

Check functions.php and comment lines you do not like, it is quite easy to read.
