Is it okay to turn off Ajax search?
« on: October 16, 2022, 07:54:29 PM »
Hi,
I wanted to make sure if it's okay to turn off Ajax search in theme settings.

The reason of turning the Ajax search is that the attributes plugin doesn't work how it should work when Ajax search is turned on.

Like for example I have brand name attribute and when we select 1 brand it automatically applies the filter and after checking result when we come back to select 2nd brand the first brand name which we had selected earlier doesn't show a check mark so the user gets confused if they want to deselect the 1st brand.

And this problem applies to all the attributes that I have for all different categories.

So, I turned of Ajax to check and it works absolutely fine when Ajax is turned off.

So, just wanted to make sure that if it's okay to keep the ajax off?

Thanks

Yes it is ok, it's not best option for all kind of situations. Sometimes is better to go without ajax search.
To get fast support, we need following details: Detail description, URL to reproduce problem, Screenshots
