reCAPTCHA is built into the theme. How does it work together with the free reCAPTCHA plugin?

Theme does not contains integration.
You can use Osclass integration or plugin integration.

I didn't understand the answer. reCAPTCHA is built into Osclass. How will it work together with a free plugin ? Do I need to use either a plugin or a built -in recaptcha ?

Well, you choose what you want to use.
Always is better to use plugin as it allows different configurations.
