Item Counter for each Category?

Is there a fast way to show the number of items in each Category?

Electronic (5)
  Audio (1)
  Light (3)
  Computers (1)

Category object itself might contains item counts (i_num_items or i_items).
Alternatrively you can use CategoryStats model.
