Saving the old version of the ad before moderation
« on: February 03, 2022, 04:38:31 PM »
Hello. A very important function would be the ability to save the old version of the ad, before passing moderation. That is, until the admin approves the edited ad, users will see its old version. And so it turns out that the user has changed the ad, but it is still available by the link and the search engine, and before moderation it is not visible on the site, but it is available by direct link)

This cannot be easily done as you would need to store plugin data as well in separate archive tables
To get fast support, we need following details: Detail description, URL to reproduce problem, Screenshots

There may be a lot of work, but the plugin will be fully functional and will fully perform its function. Moreover, the old version of the ad must be displayed on all known ad sites before passing moderation. Otherwise, before moderation, the user can publish anything there, and site visitors will see it before moderation. It turns out the plugin is not working at this moment!

You can use item validation that will disable listing until moderated by admin.
Only what could work here is maybe extension of item validation plugin and instead of deactivation of listing, use historical versions.

I don't quite understand what you're talking about... Now, after editing the ad, it is not available on the site, but it is available via a link marked "awaiting moderation". How do I disable it before approval or use the historical version?

If there is no such possibility, say so. And keep your "smart" answers to yourself! That's what the forum is for, to find solutions, if there are any. And if there is nothing to answer, or there are none in the plugins you sell and you can't develop them to make a product for the needs of users - it's better to keep quiet at all ;)

P.S. If all the visitors of this forum were as smart as you, what would you earn then? Therefore, since the plugin has moderation, I would like to see it as it appears on known resources. And so it turns out you buy, and then you still puzzle over where to find developers to bring it to mind)))

Or clearly say that it is possible to finalize, but it will cost, for example, some amount of money... And that's it)

Dude, chil tf out.
It isn't anyones obligation to do anything here.
You're first person that requested this complex feature that doesn't exist.
And you're telling to keep quiet to a guy that did more for the Osclass space, than the whole Osclass community since ever... Are you for real now?!

Jesus, the hell is wrong with people these days :o

As far as I can see, you need to calm down))) This is a forum where people try to find solutions. If there are no solutions, a new function is proposed (don't forget to see what this branch is called). If there are paid solutions, I will be happy to buy them, like many. This is what this person earns. I am sure that high-quality products will bring him more money, and not work with the forum. But since there is one, let the forum be a forum. That's it, man 8)
