Title: Is the forum plugin the same as what's being used on these support forums?
Post by: Anthony Marshall on February 19, 2021, 10:27:25 PM
Hello,

Is the forum plugin the same as what's being used on these support forums at https://forums.osclasspoint.com ?

Or are these support forums using a different software?

Sincerely,
Anthony Marshall

@Anthony
Script used on forums.osclasspoint.com is called SMF and is same as Osclass is for classifieds, SMF is for forums.
It's very good script, however cannot be connected to osclass and osclass user database.

That is unfortunate that you cannot use the osclass user as the same for the forum. That maybe one reason I would not buy it. Seems like it would confuse people

With forums osclass plugin user database is shared.
Smf script is standalone and has nothing common with osclass.

Oh ok...so the user is shared and the login works for both?
