Related ads plugin - how to setup not only subcategories ads?

Hello!

Related ads plugin show ads from the same category only.
How to make that plugin show parental cateries ads also?

Example
-Animals
--Cats
--Dogs

When used see Dogs ads also show him cats ads.

I do not think this plugin has such functionality, related ads means there ads from same category...
