horizontal scroll with the mouse
« on: May 20, 2022, 10:35:48 AM »
Hello. I reviewed everything, I didn't find a solution... Tell me how to add the ability to move the horizontal scroll with the mouse? There are no problems on mobile devices, but on a PC, pointing an arrow at a narrow scroll bar is not convenient and it is easier to allow the user to simply hold down the left mouse button and move the block to the left or right.

Where did you read that it doesn't work? I said that it is absolutely not convenient on desktop computers. And so it is practically everywhere. Premium block, similar ads block, and so on. To move the block to the right or left, you need to point the arrow at the scroll bar. It is narrow and not comfortable. But everything is fine on mobile phones. It's enough to move your finger there. How to solve this problem on desktop computers?

yes it is clear) But how to make, for example, a block of categories, or premium, or similar ads move, that is, any block with horizontal scrolling without resorting to sliding buttons, but simply by holding down the left mouse button and sliding it in the right direction?

The best solution will be to have all three options together on desktop, I think.   ;)

L-R buttons + mouse scrolling + mouse dragging

That's right. That's what I'm talking about) On mobile devices, everything is ok. But on computers, laptops and any other desktop devices, the only option is a scroll bar. This is not very convenient. If there are at least arrows in the categories (which is also not very practical), then there are no similar ads in the premium blocks. And this applies to absolutely all topics from Osclasspoint. This is a serious flaw. And it would be great to give the opportunity to simply drag the horizontal block to the right place and in the right direction with one click, holding the left mouse button on the mouse
