It is possible to have the same option as the Epsilon theme

Auto-complete box can be right choice in case your regions has thousands of cities and it is hard to scroll to proper city.

Features between themes are not usually copied, but core functionality for autocomplete should be in theme, so you should be able to replicate it (it is already on user profile page).
