Just an plugin idea
Think of a plugin with (automated) holiday settings, Christmas = snow on website, Halloween = spiderweb, Ramadan = Koran etc in corner, simple to create, easy and attractive for osclass website owners to have this kind off stuff automated.
Maybe additionally let website owners also create own holiday settings with image and date etc.
