Hello, there are inconveniences associated with list view and endless scrolling. The fact is that when the user scrolled through 3-4 pages and decided to look at the list he liked, go to the list page and then returning back, he gets a few pages back and not on the page he stopped on, then the user has to scroll a few more pages forward to get to starting point.
This is especially not convenient on a mobile device, as it casts at a very far distance from the starting point.

Basically, when use use infinite scroll, there is no pagination ready for user.
Imagine you have 1M of listings and some user has scrolled to page 1000 with 20 products per page.
Now you want to get him to page 1000 and you will load 20 000 listings.
Page will crash, server may go down.

Use "back to top" button.
What you describe is standard feature of infinite scroll.
