Does anyone know how to setup the cache to limit Mapbox Static Tiles API requests? Or create even just a simple non-interactive jpg map, if it costs less..
Over 200,000 API requests per month the service is very expensive..

You must have a lot of visitors.
Solution coukd be "click to load map" that would probably limit requests by 90-95%

Thanks for the advice. I have now restricted the map view to only the vehicle and property categories 
I don't have that many visitors and probably crawlers are counted as well.

On the Mapbox site I seem to have understood that if the map has a custom style it is not possible to create a map cache.

What is "custom style" ?
