Post by: Smithtech on July 23, 2021, 11:32:43 PM
Hi,

I want to edit the text "PAY SECURELY WITH PAYSTACK" that appears below the PAYSTACK button

All strings can be modified via .po file, but right now I am not 100% sure if it was updated.
Also not sure if paystack does not generate this string by itself.

Thank you very much.

I checked almost all plugin files and didn't find that string: PAY SECURELY WITH PAYSTACK.
I have also checked the .po file and I can't find it there either.

The thing is PAYSTACK isn't very well known. Many users don't know what it is to click on the button and pay with it. What we did was to replace the main PAYSTACK logo in plugin with the Payment channels' logos such as VISA, MASTER CARD, MOBILE MONEY etc. That way, users can easily relate with the payment method they are going to use. Because, they can see the logo of their Mobile money or Visa card that they can click on.
So after changing the button, we also want to change the string PAY SECURELY WITH PAYSTACK. Previous version of plugin had no string under the button.

Yes, in previous version this string was hidden, it is generated by paystack script

Alright. Thank you.
If that could customized to PAY WITH MOBILE MONEY OR CARD or completely hidden, it will be very good. I assume people are very cautious about initiating payment and where they put their card & Mobile Money details. So, if a name appears that they are not familiar with, it might bring problems. They use the payment channels online all the time but have no idea about the payment gateway behind them.

You can hide it via css.
