Hello,

I am still at the setup stage with OSclass. Yesterday I input the settings for the mail server and sent a few test emails successfully. A little while later, it stopped working. If I try to send a test mail, I get the error "An error occurred while sending email". The server type was changed to Gmail server and the same error is received.

Any ideas on what happened?

Simply said your mail server is not properly configured.

Unfortunately, that isn't the issue. I can send mail from the domain without a problem. It can't be spam, because I sent about 5 messages in total - all of them to myself.

If it is my mail server, why did it work for a while and then stop without my making any changes?

Not true, your mail server is simply not configured properly in Osclass.
That is reason in 99% of cases.

People tell "I read documentation and tried everything", but that is just phrase...
You can discuss connection details and restrictions with your hosting provider. Gmail also require approval of using gmail account in application.
