I am a bit confused about using cron job yes or no.

In the admin panel it is advised not to use the OsClass cron job, when i check the documentation it is mentioned to use the cron job for fi. sending email alerts.

Hallo, Cron jobs are an automatic execution commands, and can be done only in the hosting, Not MB themes,
for example instead of sending sitemaps manually to google Search engine, you can set a daily or weekly submitall with Cron jobs.
instead of doing command work , is better you use a wizad, and also it's important to talk with your hosting. they are the only one who can help you.
try to read their knowledgebase. they must have a step by step guide.

it's easy to setup, and try to ad some alerts like email notification.

How can i link fi. email notification and email alerts to the cronjob, should i not have a code to link to the cron job?

It's for users who subscribed for an email alert for a certain article.
(because now without a cron job the users don't receive an email when an alert is successful)

Built in cron may not be reliable, that is only reason why is recommended to setup cron in cron tab.

I contacted my host, he tells me that there should be a link to connect to the cron job.
