I have configured the php on my server to accept upload images of up to 1GB.

OSClass dashboard says:  Maximum size PHP configuration allows: 65536 KB

But when I try to set it to 5000KB I get the warning: You cannot set a maximum file size higher than the one allowed in the PHP configuration: 1024 KB

Hmm that's strange, can you check your PHP settings?
It can be setup on multiple places.
