Optimization issues
« on: February 26, 2023, 01:10:09 PM »
Having issues when minimizing CSS Js in settings optimization.

Can t see anymore the images, cant select categories, etc.

What is happening when all 4 boxes in optimization are checked?

How can I make it work properly?

Css optimization cannot do anything with listing images, so I do not think so.

So when I activate only Merge internal CSS style sheets into one looks like working well and the First Contentful Paint
15.3 s goes down to First Contentful Paint 3.0 s

When I also enable Merge internal JS scripts into one First Contentful Paint goes to 1.9 s - now the pictures do not work. I mean I can see them in home page, them when click the item, I'm not able to see the pics. If I click them the pics do not zooms anymore but opens straight in a new webp tab. - SEE THE PIC, but the pics are there and opens as webp. the slider do not work too

I excluded item page and now work. even with js.

what about the Cache Plugin - where it saves the files as I see this This may be extensive on hosting resources (space) as 1 file is created for each item. When you enable this option, monitor space usage of plugin regulary. - do the clearing interval work or do I have to do it manually?

Edit: on mobile the performance moves down with all these on from 42 to 29, while on Desktop goes up from 49 to 75.

the thing that modifies is the TOTAL BLOCKING TIME from 190ms to 720ms - on desktop it is 0

Accesibility and Best practices stays at 76 both.

Managed to go up

48
Performance
65
Accessibility
67
Best Practices
97
SEO

Disabling the google adsense, welcome plugin and enabling all cache files (should this be ok?) merge internal css/js both checked
JS Exclude pages - item

would this be ok?

still the performance is too low at 48  also the other 2 accesibility and best practices... need more advices here :)

Somehow the website ruined now. It show all as a notepad document. Nothing looks like a website anymore.

it's all like this

text
text
text
text
text
text
text
text

what words should be also excluded in optimization for a proper setting?

Lazy load enabled?
It makes a lot.
Then there use to be many nonsense rules those you will never be able to achieve (like put all css and js into website body, etc etc...)
