Geolocation data has been refreshed with much more detailed data (more cities).

Old:  379,072 cities
New: 2,462,328 cities

Regions are not changing.

But for webmasters that have already those countries installed, how do we update?

Not simple, best way is to probably drop current country on different country code, add new country, update foreign key ids everywhere and then drop old country, regions & cities

But here region ID & City id matching to old data...?

Old INDIA country - maharashtra region id xyz  and when new INDIA country geo data update then its showing abc ,

same for cities ...

also, when delete cuntry - ads may be lost.

So, pls provide more detail process guide for safe migration this location data. lat & lang data imp for use location features.

Only country code & region id may match.
