Today, Osclass v4.3.0 has been finally released as first update of osclass in 2021. We will continue to deliver new updates over the year and we expect to release at least 1 major update up to end of 2021.
List of updates in osclass 4.3:
- Osclass and all themes & plugins are now compatible with PHP 8.0
- Incorrect mail server configuration will not block actions where mails are sent (like user register or listing publish).
- New section under Apearance has been created - customization, where you can enter any CSS code to modify appearance of your theme.
This code will not be changed or modified during theme or osclass updates, so it provides ultimate way to do design changes unrelated to updates. - User table in backoffice now contains also phone number of user (mobile if not empty, otherwise land phone)
- Fixed usage of POP3 before SMTP in mail function
- Fixed different issues with form functions
- Removed child themes from update sequence - child themes cannot be updated at all
- Enabled options for current theme to be updated
- Themes are now sorted in ascending order by their name
- Fixed error message when installing problematic plugin, where message was sometimes not visible
- Design for filter pop-up window in backoffice on mobile devices has been fixed

@David Beaudoin
Make sure to re-save permalinks settings in oc-admin > Settings > Permalinks so htaccess get refresh
-
The problem is that the htaccess file has been modified outside of osclass ...
it is in 777 access but nothing changes when I deactivate the permalink. For the moment they are disabled
-
htaccess is not delivered in zip
-
We agree but I don't understand what you mean
-
@David
The problem is that the htaccess file has been modified outside of osclass ...
But update has no impact on that file. But to simply refresh it, just disable & enable permalinks.
-
I did it but I have an error message telling me that htaccess has been modified outside of osclass and suddenly it does not work
-
@mb themes
does this option impact for customized themes. , Enabled options for current theme to be updated
-
It means, that even theme is active, you should be able to update it without need to disable theme, update it and then activate it.

I am getting errors in zara theme after upgrading to 4.3.0 in user dashboard not working any plugin 404 error. Rolled back to 4.2.2 losing a lot of ads. Sorry and thanks you jobs.

mystie/blog/home
mysite/companies
and similar are dead on 4.3
even after re-save permalinks. )

@Ivanko
Sounds bit weird as there was nothing made with permalinks.
Will try to do clean installation as well as update from 4.2.2 to see what change.
-
Moreover, I just realized that osclass no longer accepts external plugins!
-
@David
That would be news for me as well
-
Which solution ? Go back to 4.2.2
-
And one more, we can no longer publish on Facebook, it redirects to a 404 error !
-
@David Beaudoin
All you are talking about is problem with plugins permalinks.
Update 4.3.1 is rolling out and you may download it in few minutes.

It was updated by client from admin panel from 4.2 to 4.3
I just rolled back to 4.2
I did not checked yet
Do u know why it happened ? So i can go straight to investigate )
-
Yes, one line of code was moved to fix admin menu order and was resolved in 4.3.1
-
I still have a problem, I bought a "CBK admin Translate" plugin and I can't find it in the extensions menu anymore. I tried uninstalling it reinstalling it but nothing helps
-
@David Beaudoin
Plugin config menu can be on different places, not sure where this plugin have it. But I can see other plugins in your menu so do not expect problems with osclass. Try to scroll at bottom.
-
No, I can't find the configuration field of this plugin anywhere...
-
I am a little disgusted because it cost me 25 € and it is very practical. I can't find it since the osclass update

Works now good
Css box very useful
Did not understand about child theme can you explain in details?
What about cyrilic chars?) in next update?
-
@Ivanko
I was not able to handle it and push into this one.
Child themes has improved translation options and basically combines original with child translations. It did not work well previous versions of osclass.
