osclass auto update?

Hello guys,

I noticed the osclass update under settings are disabled.
So what are the benefit if I will turn it on, the core, theme, plugin?
What are the pros and cons.

Pros - auto update
Cons - osclass, plugins or theme gets updated and you might not wanted to do it because you wanted to test that...
