It is allowed to have one "sub-category" and one "sub-sub-category".

By default you can have 4 level of categories.
Item counts are recalculated daily via CRON (stats function).

4 levels of subcategories is very little.
Please tell me what and in which file you need to change in order to increase the number of sub-careers.

It is number of levels most themes accept.
Limit is probably just in backoffice
