I am doing daily backups to my site and I have seen a strange thing.

Yesterday's backup had: 660 MB - 15.277 Files - 2.271 Folders
Today backup have: 247 MB - 14.923 Files - 2.271 Folders

Any idea what is happening? Shouldn't it be growing constantly?

I specify that I only save root of Osclass installation and databases. Which is normal.
The databases continue to grow but the site is decreasing.
I uploaded the files to another host to test and everything works.

Does the site create log files? Is there anything I can check to see the differences? Can I do a more detailed comparison to see what has disappeared?

Please do not think to the /var/log/httpd... files that the Virtual Host makes, I do not save that ones.

There is all the listings active.

Maybe you had some TMP files and they were removed automatically?

No, never, each is did with same name but different date, like backup-18-18-2024, and never overwrite them.

Everything work as expected just want to fond where this gap of 4-500 mbs came from, need to be something that I can check… too much space went Away.

You can extract those 2 archives and check. Why you do not do that?

As I put the site offline and it seems to be all working good… What Could reduce the dimensions?

This is where the differences are.

But why 400 - 500 mbs.. is not too much?

What are these temps in oc-content/uploads/temp?

What cleans the Temp Files? At how long? Any idea how and why and when?
