While navigating the plug-ins marketplace I found one difficulty witch is to identify if some plug-ins add functionality to the latest version of Osclass, 8.0, or if they were created for a previous version and the functionality of the plug-in is no longer required because it already exists in the latest version.

For example, OsclassPoint Updater Free Plugin https://osclasspoint.com/osclass-plugins/backoffice/osclasspoint-updater-free-plugin-i69, is it still needed in version 8 ?

Another example, Extra Feeds Osclass Plugin https://osclasspoint.com/osclass-plugins/advertisement-and-monetize/extra-feeds-osclass-plugin-i129

Another one is CSS and JS Minify Free Plugin https://osclasspoint.com/osclass-plugins/backoffice/css-and-js-minify-free-plugin-i79 as it seems this feature, like the ones before, is already supported on Osclass 8.

Are these Plugins useful recommended for version 8 or no longer necessary for this version ?

My suggestion is to add info on the plugins marketplace the minor version they are compatible with and the major version they are recommended to.

This way if the plugin added a feature or functionality that has been implement on a Osclass more recent version, people won't try to install it just to find out it's not necessary.

Extra feeds maybe, other 2 are obsolete for osclass 8.0 as osclass already have better solition.
They are still compatible with latest osclass version, but does not make sense to use them

This is the reason for my post.

I'm suggesting the indication on the OsclassPoint marketplace, in the product technical specification, in the Osclass Support line, if a plugin doesn't make sense for a specific version, it should not be supported by that version, or, an indication of "included in version xx".

This would avoid some time consuming and disappointment process while trying install a plug-in just to verify it isn't really necessary.

Osclass looks like promising, i'll keep looking for a setup that allows me to start my business, making money, and then investing it in developing and adding more features from OsclassPoint.

But it has to have this order :-), or otherwise won't work, setup business with Osclass using base features, and some featurefull, but less expensive plug-ins, make some money, invest that money on Osclass and OsclassPoint :-)

I would say this is incorrect way how people use plugins.
Because you search for plugin once you need specific feature, you should not install everything that is for free, just because it is for free (not talking about you soecifically).

But you are right, we will add some info related to duplicated functionality
