I have a website running osclass v5.1.2 by mindstellar. I want to upgrade it to osclasspoint 8.0.2
Is that possible? Please help.

I don't see why you couldn't with the importer plugin. I personally haven't used mindstellar and don't recommend a drop in replacement.. better to consider export/import on a new 8.1.1 installation.

Cheers

You should be able to update.
Osclass should be able to recognize you've been using mindstellar, remove redundant files and process with update.
Backup everything before ..
To get fast support, we need following details: Detail description, URL to reproduce problem, Screenshots

Admin panel is broke. I tried it upgrading with replacing all files except the oc-content folder. And i tried another medthod by clean install v8.0.2 and tried to import my backup sql from v5.1.2 . Didn't work.

You just need to replace all files and do upgrade.
If backoffice is broken, try to go to t_preference table and change admin_theme to omega.

If I replace all the files, then i will lost my theme customizations and plugins. am i wrong?
How do i get it back?

I was talking about my existing installation. It is working and contains themes and plugins from original osclass.
Anyway, leave it.

As you said, I changed the admin_theme in t_preference table and now my test installation's backend working fine. I was able to upgrade my test installation from 5.1.2 to 8.0.2.

Now i need to try this method in original live installation

Does the table name prefix affect upgradation process?
Talking about live installation, I have my tables starting ossl_t. Is that ok? will there be any conflict with oc_t of 8.0.2 during upgradation?

You miss oc-admin/upgrade.php file.
It's been there always (https://github.com/osclass/Osclass/blob/master/oc-admin/upgrade.php)

Do manual upgrade.... Upload osclass zip to root folder, extract it here and then go to oc-admin to perform upgrade
