Can anyone help me? The location is not shown on google maps. It rather shows Europe map or something.

Try to install latest version of google maps plugin and setup google api key. Note that plugin is getting coordinates on the fly so if it is not shown on map, it is not possible to locate item.

It works on my mobile phone. So I guess the device used to access it should have google map integrated into it.

This functionality is irrelevant to mobile device, as it just show location put in item to map.
