With most hosts imposing both inode and traffic limits, it became necessary nowadays to use an external storage for the listing images.
The problem is that the existing Amazon S3 Osclass Plugin is ancient (2016), uses deprecated endpoints, and causes issues with SSL, things which render it useless.

It would be nice if we could get a new/revised plugin (free or paid) that supports and works with the latest S3 setup.
Regarding this, I found 2 resources that seem to do the job:

• https://github.com/mnapoli/simple-s3 (it's based on the first one, with some modifications - it's missing the signed_upload_form function)

This plugin would make a great addition, as the S3 storage is pretty cheap ($0.0245 per GB) and offers the advantage of loading the resources externally.

Does not works with the new regions like eu-central-1


I would also pay for a plugin that works with different regions not only us-east-1
