That is not so easy and I do not know it, never worked with Yandex. You need to check Yandex documentation.

Development does not mean to change this line and replace that code. Yandex api is different and a lot of code might need to be modified, a lot of testing to be done.
Plugin is based on google api that is reliable and for us it would be pure loose of time developing this. No benefit for anyone.
