I use the Epsilon theme with the Radius Search Plugin which is a great combination.

A lot of locations on my site have no or only a few listings.

Could a future version of this plugin show the local results first then results of say a 20 mile radius under the local results?

So that the page at: https://www.auclassifieds.com.au/wanneroo-c66092
Would show by default: https://www.auclassifieds.com.au/index.php?page=search&sOrder=dt_pub_date&iOrderType=desc&sCity=66092&sLocation=Wanneroo&radius_size=20

With local listings first, then the remainder underneath.

Many of the popular classified sites offer this function and also show how far the listing is from the local location too.

Would it be possible to have an option to set the default radius search results?

At the moment the search box says "Select Radius" , can we have the option in the plugin admin to select a distance by default, so that it doesn't default to zero for the radius search?

For example, the default Radius Search distance could be 20 miles. The user would still be able to change this value to zero if they want using "Select Radius" option.

Basically yes but it is not such easy because it would need to go search conditions as well and there would be an issue with setting "no radius"

It would be great to have this option.

The site ukpets.com uses osclass and I would like to find a solution similar to their radius search results implementation:

Maybe latest version of osclass would support custom sorting options, but not a question of the day now
