Upload a location in native language
« on: January 16, 2024, 03:18:25 PM »
Good afternoon. I was faced with a situation where I needed geolocation of cities in my country. And so as not to enter it manually in the language of your country. I downloaded and installed, everything is fine, as I saw, but for some reason all the cities are in English, and not, for example, in German. It turns out that I will need to translate each city manually?
If you translate it manually, it will take a whole week.
Do you have a geolocation of the country in your native language, for example German, and not like I downloaded and it is in English?

I gave an example on the screenshot, I downloaded the language in Korean but it ended up being English. If you translate Korean manually it will be a chore

Hello,
Native location names are usually not part of geolocation data.
To get fast support, we need following details: Detail description, URL to reproduce problem, Screenshots

Write to me what to do.
My language is German and I downloaded it from your city website but they are in English. As I understand it, every city needs to be translated manually into German?

if city name is different to what you expect, you can use native location name field.
You can also built database update statement if you do not want to do it manually.

Thanks for the answer. But I didn’t understand how exactly to create an operator. I'll probably change it manually, I don't see any other options for now.
