I'm having an issue with the When duplicate is detected (2) feature, as it doesn't seem to work.
While identical listings appear as duplicates in the Refresh listings and show duplicates section, they don't get marked as spam/deleted and still appear in the font-end.

PS: Both listings are new, posted one after another by the same logged in user, with the plugin enabled.

Testing on localhost: PHP 5.6.25, Apache 2.4.23, MySQL 5.6.32, Osclass 3.7.1, Spam Solution Plugin v2.1.6

What action you have to do with duplicate?
Can you replicate issue on our demo site?

First of all, your demo site doesn't allow users to post ads, as they need admin validation.

Secondly, from my understanding, the Spam Solution Plugin Duplicate feature, checks a newly posted ad, against other ads from the same email, to see if it's a duplicate.
When a duplicate is found, the plugin gives you 2 options: Mark listing as spam and Delete listing.
For me, these 2 options don't work.

When you post a duplicate listing, it gets checked and marked with 100% similarity in the Refresh listings and show duplicates section, but it doesn't automatically get marked as spam, or deleted.

So in the end, the duplicate appears on the main page...

If listing would not be removed, there could be problem with some foreign keys that does not allow to remove listings on your site. But if there is problem with marking as spam as well, problem will be somewhere else.

Can you PM me login to your oc-admin and FTP so I can replicate issue and find cause?

I'm sorry but I can't link you my test environment, as I'm testing on localhost: PHP 5.6.25, Apache 2.4.23, MySQL 5.6.32, Osclass 3.7.1, Spam Solution Plugin v2.1.6 + some other plugins.

In that case I cannot help you. If you will have test environment available for testing, let me know.

I have the same problem.

Also in ban words it add user in ban rule, it deletes the listing but the account of that user is not blocked.


is there something i am missing?

And is stopforumspam plugin reliable? i see some legit user emails in ban rules from stopforumspam

As far as I know, this site (with list of spammers) was pretty famous and reliable.
Can you reproduce issue on our demo site?

Your listing was rejected by admin an will not be visible to other visitors.

1. I tried and it wasn't saying they was rejected, i looked at search page https://plugins.abprofitrade.eu/index.php?sRegion=&sCity=&page=search&cookie-action=&sCompany=0&sShowAs=&sPattern=&sCategory=96

and all duplicate listings was showing fine at first 3 places.

2. on duplicate settings it says delete when find duplicate, i just posted 3 more and they are not deleted, there is some kind of problem and on my site i see all the time listings with same title and description, some are getting to spam some not

Ok, let's try to eliminate problem with some plugin you have.
Try to go to your database and remove some listing if you can do so, or try to remove it from your oc-admin if it is completely removed.
When everything working all right, I will take a look on it tomorrow.

Ok, one more question, have you similarity percentage to set on some acceptable value like 80-90% ?

Yes, i tried with 70% too and higher number of pages too but it won't do anything, when i press Refresh listings and show duplicates
it shows the duplicates as red but they are not deleted or marked as spam.
