Plugin has been updated to 2.1.7 version, please test on this

What is the best way to update it? uninstall and delete completly the plugin or just replace the files?

I am confused, should this plugin delete or mark all existing listings that are duplicate too or just the new listings that are posted after the plugin is installed?

I have updated it, set it to mark listing as spam, press "Refresh listings and show duplicates" and i still see many duplicate listings in the list with 100%similarity and they are not marked as spam.

- will perform action just on old (existing listing), will keep untouched new listing
- will not do any action after installation. If you install plugin, it is not going to remove or mark anything, it just show you where is problem with existing listings

ok thanks, could you make a query to delete or mark all similar existing listings? Plugin wasn't warking before update and i got 400 pages on duplicate refresh can't look them 1by1

No, because in 95% of hosting it would result into maximum execution time reached or maximum allowed memory size reached.

I can confirm the issue is fixed.
Posted 2 identical ads and the first was marked as spam and removed from the website.

Now there's one thing up for discussing, and that is the order in which duplicate listings are marked as spam.
In my case, I have id's 1 and 2, where listing id 1 got marked as spam.
The question is, shouldn't the plugin mark listing 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. as spam and keep the original one valid?

I think this could become an exploit, as a user could post duplicates like crazy and they will appear on the first page as new listings, with the older ones becoming spam...

Plugin will keep newest one valid.

So if new listing = duplicate -> mark it as spam

The way it works right now, lets the spammer renew the listing over and over again, changing categories, prices etc...

And that is ok, as far as they have just 1 listing of same type at same time, it is more beneficial to have newer then older.

This topic has not been posted in for at least 360 days, but I have same problem in my site with this plugin. How to solve it?
In my site I have last version of OsClass, use Patricia theme and only MB Themes plugins. Can you help me please?
Tested with 80%, 10%, 100%, tested to mark as spam or to delete comment, and nothing happen. I put more than 5 similar, some 100% similar ads, but all are saved in site.

And last one was spam error, and every time same error when I add new item which must to be compared...

Banwords too do not work. I add banwords yesterday, but today someone create post with some banwords. Plugin do not work into my site.
