How do I increase the file size of user upload profile

I keep getting this error when  I try to upload my own picture as avatar. How do I change it to upload any size and auto resize the uploaded image??

Profile picture plugin does not have converter. Max dimension and allowed extensions can be changed directly in plugin index.php
