I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly because the banners are not being shown.
I've disabled all adblockers but I'm not seeing the Adsense banners.

Attached you can find a screenshot of the banner code and how I implemented it.
Can you tell me if that's done well?

Some time ago one user reported issue when saving adsense (on patricia). Problem was that site was not running via SSL (https) and browser blocked update - isn't it your situation?
On what URL can be seen issue?

I sent you a PM with the website link.
Website does load over SSL.

I see box for adsense there but nothing is shown. Try to put same code directly into main.php of theme to see if problem is with saving or on adsense side.
