I need to create some personalization to this theme but I do not want to change the source code.

I read this https://doc.osclass.org/How_to_create_a_child_theme and I try to do with this theme but doesn't work.

You need to check with osclass / on osclass forums if tutorial is complete.
I have never used this functionality.

hi, same here. The child theme doesn't work.

BTW @frosticek, what will happen to our modifications if we update to the new theme version and we don't have the child theme?

Same as if you modify osclass core and update osclass or modify plugin and update it.
You should create separate file for your modifications that will not be affected by update.
