when editing ad username does not change

username remains unchanged.

How to fix?

Do you mean name or username? By default username = user id

Have you tested as logged in user? because in that case user name can be used instead.

I've check theme and everything looks alright, you may check t_item table if data are correct here.

when editing the name is not re-recorded in the table t_item

Then osclass probably does not support this. Can you try with bender?

That means osclass is not updating this field, you may change it to readonly.
