Hi. in Veronika Theme there is a section in the home page (main.php file) that display latest items. How can i modify that code so it can display only the latest items from a specific category with the id 128

I would say you can set categories in theme settings.

?? I think you didnt understand me. What i want is to know how can i display the latest random items from a specific category (with id eg 128) and not the latest random items form all categories at the home page.

How to display more categories on Latest listings? Choose category from which latest items on homepage will be selected - will show only from one sigle category , but i want to display from more, but with some exception , so not all categories.

Theme does not have such settings, you can select one or none.
