No, you are not alone. Put back the old zara/admin files. it will work

If you dont have old admin files i can give to you but you have to show me a "proof" that you have bought the theme zara from mb-themes.com

If you want to modify design, add new functionality or change anything in theme, you need to do it by yourself. We are able to provide support only on theme itself, it's functionality and bugs, not for custom development of individual customers. That is not possible.
