Send to a Friend issue
« on: March 27, 2017, 11:00:43 PM »
Hello frosticek, I hope you're doing well. I'm having an issue with the 'Send to a Friend' button, at item.php

When I click on it to test it, and fill out the information, after clicking 'send' button, the page turns white and get stuck. in limbo. ::)

Can you gimme some advice? thanks.

Daniel.

Hello, I have check for errors in cpanel, but apparenlty all is ok, no errors, the weird thing is that when I use this exact theme in another test site, works great, but not in this one, I have no clue.

it goes from

/index.php?page=item&id=5

to

/index.php?page=item&action=send_friend&id=5

and then it hangs.  Instead of returning to the ad page and showing the sent legend on top of the ad.

 :o

Please try it yourself at www.inmueblesnorte.com

Thanks frosticek!

Daniel.

@Daniel
Osclass redirects you to wrong page (item send friend page) instead of item page.
Have you tried with friendly URLs?

Hi, yes, just activated friendly urls and behaves the same, it's weird. I know that is not a theme issue, it's an installation or server error, because I have tested this same theme in another domain and 'send to a friend' works normal. I have even overwriten the php file, from the working form to this one, and no success. Nah, frankly I guess it's more common for users to share the ad using fb or twitter rather than write an email. ::)

Thanks frosticek, regards! ;D
