Hello
Synchronizing the osclass(default) search module with the Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin.
I don't know if it works for anyone else, but it doesn't for me.
As the original script is organized, I think we have a problem with the site's search engine (osclass) which is not fully synchronized with the Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin.
If we activate the AUTO PRO plugin to appear on the HOME page, we notice that the search module is divided into two. That is, the AUTO PRO Plugin and the site's search module (osclass).
The site's search module (osclass) searches for words and phrases entered on the ad's publishing page in the "Listing Title" section as in the image below…..(I will upload them in order).
The AUTO PRO plugin module searches for the data entered in "Make", "Model", etc.…as in the image:
I think it is a rather confusing problem when searching for an ad.
With the site search module (osclass) I can search by the name (title) that the user gave in “Listing Title”.
With the Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin module, I can search for what was written in “MAKE”, MODEL, etc..
So the searches are out of sync. The osclass module searches for an ad by the words written in “Listing Title”, the other module, Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin, searches for ads by the criteria written in “MAKE”, MODEL, etc...
This is not right.
In my opinion, if we use Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin, I think the following changes should be made:
1. The search should interconnect the two search modules (osclass and Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin).
In the search bar, osclass searches for: pattern, seller, category, location, radius, condition, transaction, price_min, price_max.
All of this must be synchronized with the Ultimate Attributes PRO Plugin
There should be a single search mode for all ads.
2. On the ad publishing page, the subcategory “Make” and “Model” should be autocompleted in the “LISTING TITLE” (where the user fills in the ad title).
This way there will be no more “confusion” of “ad title”. Also here, following the ad title, the user should have the possibility to fill in other data (with a word limit). E.g.: The automatic completion of the title in Make and Model can be "SKODA OCTAVIA". Following "SKODA OCTAVIA", the user should be able to fill in other data such as for example: " 2.0 TDI, SPORT". So the ad title will be SKODA OCTAVIA 2.0 TDI, SPORT. The listing title will be made up of the 2 parts.
This is just a proposal. If you have other ideas to make the 2 search modules synchronize perfectly, please specify.
Otherwise, we are also waiting for the developer's opinion, who should know what to do in this case.
