Problems when updating the theme
« on: February 10, 2026, 08:24:35 AM »
Hello,

I have an issue when updating the theme. Every time the theme is updated, the default favicon and logo are restored.

Additionally, there are some parts of the theme that are not translated (see attached image 1). I translate them manually, but after each update they revert back to the original values.

Is there a setting or recommended approach that can prevent these changes from being overwritten during updates?

Thank you in advance.

Osclass core translations.
To get fast support, we need following details: Detail description, URL to reproduce problem, Screenshots

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

All translations have already been completed 100%. We have translated everything, so the issue does not seem to be related to missing core translations.

Could you please clarify why, after each theme update, the default logo and favicon are restored? We are uploading them from the admin panel, but they still revert to the default versions after updating the theme.

Is there a recommended way to prevent the logo and favicon from being overwritten during updates?

Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Best regards,

if it's missing, update your translation catalog from source code.
Another alternative is that string use wrong domain (does not match to theme/plugin folder name).
In such case just correct it in theme/plugin file and report via support ticket, it get corrected in next update.
