In Osclass setting I haven't enabled the option: "Allow users to select a parent category as a category when inserting or editing a listing"

My site uses 3 or more category levels. Example: For Sale / Computers / Laptop / Accessories

When a customer place an advert using the Category Auto Complete option it shows the non final category categories, for example Computers instead of Accessories.

Can you suggest a solution to the problem?

Hi,

In your demo I can't find more than 2 levels in the categories.

If you create a category: For Sale / Animals / Cats / Mixed

Then search for cats, you will be able to post to this category even though it is not the final category, "Mixed" is the final category.

Hi,

When selecting the option to: Category selection on Publish page : Autocomplete

I have the following structure for iPhone mobile phone category:

For Sale / Phones / Mobile Phones / iPhones

I only want the customer to be able to choose the final level category, which is iPhones.

But if the customer types "phone" in the autocomplete box, they can choose to place their ad in Mobile Phones or Phones which are not the final level category.

I have selected the option in settings to post in the final category only.

Can anyone suggest how to resolve the problem as I want to use the Autocomplete option and not the other options?

You must use different more suitable type of selector, recommend cascading dropdowns
