I am not sure if anyone will like this or how many people will use this. But whatever things are available in world today were once new for every user and depending on users need some may accept and some may not, so its hard to say that how much time it will take for a user to adopt this feature and I am also not sure how difficult it is to implement this.


Following is the idea which I believe can be helpful because it is something in between online and offline.

Request Quotation:

1.Vendor page.
2.Customer page.

1.Vendor page:
Vendors who are member of selected group created by our osclass pay plugin can use this feature.
Vendors will select the category in which they deal and select all the locations for which their service is available.
There will be a tab where vendor can see all quotes requested by a customer for the vendor chosen category and location. From this tab vendor can provide their prices and offers, but vendor can't see the user information who requested the quote.
There will be another tab in which a vendor will see all the customers information who requested their information on basis of their quotation.

2.Customer page:
Customer will have a Request quote section in their user menu. This section will have 3 tabs, Request new quote, quotes requested by me and Quotes finalised.
Customers will have to pay certain amount to request for a new quote. Let's assume 50 cents for 1 quote in which they can get upto 5 vendors contact information on basis of their provided price and offer.

How will this feature work?
When customer wants to buy something they either surf on Internet on different websites or visit few nearby stores. But using this request quote feature customers can just fill in their requirement, enter in how many days they want to get their required product/service and click on submit. Once a user submit their requirement, all the vendors will receive a notification on basis of customers selection of category and location. From that notification vendor can reply their price and offers. Once the customer receives the quote they can save and select which quotations they like. For 1 quotation requested by customer they can ask only to share certain number of vendors contact information which will be decided by site Admin. When customer chose which all vendors information they want to see on basis of pricing and offer, the vendors will also see that particular customers information in their customer information tab. They can then contact each other to close their deal.

How will this benefit customer?

Customers don't have to visit multiple local stores to know the price and offers.
Customers may get multiple quotations from their neighbourhood stores as well as from some other localities nearby which can be worth to travel if that saves some money.

How will this benefit vendors?

Vendors may get some customers from nearby localities which they would have lost because of their location.
Vendors don't have to maintain any online store, they just have to reply to a quotation request which may take few minutes.


How will this benefit site Admin?

Site Admin can have a Seperate membership for vendors to use this feature, so they will earn few bucks from this membership.
Site Admin will charge customers to request each quotation and if we can add like 50 ¢ = show 2 vendors contact, $1 = show 5 vendors contact, etc.
