Yes that is possible, workaround could be to do redirect on background, but that would mean negative user experience...

I did a test for the speed of your template gamma without Auto-Language Plugin
The result was 68% .
How can we treat this

Exclude display blocking resources

There is redirect on first visit.
You can avoid this by uninstalling plugin.
Plugin surely does not generate render blocking content or behaviour.

I receive these two warnings when activating the extension and checking the site for SEO

When I disable it, both warnings disappear

Does not look like relevant plugin issues.
Plugin use very initial redirect that might confuse some validators that redirect was unwanted.
