Hi. Could someone please enlight me about the discounts which membership allows (on osclass pay plugin) ?
I have configured the osc pay plugin, by defining 3 memberships, following the tutorial on website, so: Silver, Gold, Platinum. For each one I have defined an different discount (10%, 20%, 30%).
But I don't see how can benefit from that discount; Using an test user account I bought the Gold membership; I guess this should normally reduce the prices of future purchases with 20%.
Where exactly the discount I should expect to be applied ?
1. To buy credit packs is not allowed (non-sense, I agree)
2. To buy promotions (Premium Highlight, Auto re-publish) I don't see any discount, the listed amount (eg. 10 EUR for highlight 1 week) is substracted entirely from wallet (I made a test by purchasing Premum promotion and to pay 10 EUR for this; I had 50 EUR before, now I have 40 EUR, so no discount)
3. The pay-per-publish is not activated as I don't want to charge users for publishing limit
Sorry, but the pdf doc with instructions for the plugin is pretty weak on this particular case:
"As alternative way to monetize your site, you get allow membership in different groups. You can define as much groups as you want, provide extra membership discounts, restrict categories..."
and
"Discount – flat discount provided to members on listing promotions"
That's all related to discounts.
