Hope you come up with this feature soon so that if user misses the popup at first then this will help them install the PWA later.

Maybe you are right but if you try this demo pwa on your mobile phone then you will know if his code has changed the browser behaviour or its just like any other pwa. Because I tried to ignore pwa on my site and didn't get the install notification again when I closed and reopen the browser and same thing I did with this particular website and didn't get the pwa install message again.

But in this case the button from about section of his website allows to download pwa and after installing his pwa just refresh the website and the install button disappears. So, looking at it I think what you said and what he did is about different languages of coding.

You should check the demo site on your mobile device once.
