Items chech with seller sold via make my offershow incorrect price

I have raised it as a ticket already but need users here for their input/feedback

The item if listed with no price (contact seller option) and someone makes an offer (via plugin) and pays for the agreed price, the cart does not accept the item with message - "Some products has been removed from your cart due to incorrect price"
E.g. a item is listed with "Contact Seller" (in backend price will be blank or 0). Buyer make an offer of 180USD, seller accepts and buyer tries to add item to cart. Cart rejects adding the item as above msg.

Now, this i see in the offer placed - add to cart URL where it passes the product parameter with price as 0.
Make my offer is used for items where seller is not sure of the price most of the times for let buyer contact them (refer to ebay stats)

If this particular function is corrected and the functions that fetches the price of the make offer item, it will solve the purpose. We tried tweaking the function of cart update to add offer item and it was able to add but the cart item was showing 0 price , so we rolled back (not an expert)

if this issue is already highlighted and has a workable solution, please do share with us.

URL price should not really be used in plugin, fee/price is always calculated but may not be case here.
Does this only happen when product is "check with seller" price?
If you have some price on it, it works properly? ... from cart to order?
